Two Manassas residents were among the 203 who graduated from Emory & Henry College this month.

Toni Atkins, majority leader of the California State Assembly gave the commencement speech on the south lawn of the college's Memorial Chapel in Emory, Va.

Atkins is a 1984 graduate of Emory & Henry College.
