Manassas School Calendar For 2025-2026: Key Dates To Know
As the summer wraps up, here are the dates Manassas students and parents should know for the new school year.
MANASSAS, VA — Summer will soon wrap up for students around Manassas. The first day of school in Manassas City Public Schools is Tuesday, Aug. 12. Prince William County Public Schools will follow on Monday, Aug. 18.
One new update for the school year at Manassas City Public Schools is an alternative education pilot program. Manassas City Council had approved funding for the pilot, along with the school board's purchase of the administrative building it leases.
At Prince William County Public Schools, the new cell phone-free policy is going into effect in the new school year. Policies for student cell phone use differ depending on school level.
