Missing Manassas Man Last Seen Fishing In Dumfries Found Safe

Prince William County Police have now located the man who didn't return home after fishing.

UPDATE: Police have located Robert "Bobby" Shane Curtis, and he is safe.

DUMFRIES, VA — Prince William County Police are searching for a missing man last seen going fishing in Dumfries.

Robert "Bobby" Shane Curtis, 26, was last seen fishing on Quantico Creek near 18001 Possum Point Road in Dumfries. Police say he was last heard from around 5 p.m. on Sunday and did not return to his home on Guy Drive in Manassas.

Curtis's white 2016 GMC pickup truck and fishing gear were located on Possum Point Road. Police checked the area and did not locate Curtis. Police do not suspect foul play.

Curtis is described as a white man around 5 foot 10 and 175 pounds with red hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a white tank top, light-colored shorts, black Nike shoes, light-colored bucket-style hat and a black backpack.
