Nighttime Lane Closure Affects Major Prince William County Route
Drivers should be aware of a lane closure affecting part of Prince William Parkway, one of the major routes connecting the county.
MANASSAS, VA — Lane closures will impact Prince William Parkway in the Manassas area starting Friday night, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
VDOT is planning the lane closures Friday and Saturday nights to repair the Balls Ford Road overpass. The right lane of northbound Prince William Parkway at Balls Ford Road will be closed 10 p.m. Friday, May 16, to 8 a.m. Saturday, May 17 and 10 p.m. Saturday, May 17, to 9 a.m. Sunday, May 18.
Work is weather permitting. The backup closure if needed would happen from 9 p.m. Sunday, May 18, to 5 a.m. Monday, May 19.
