Police: Manassas-Area Woman Strangled in Night-Time Attack

A Manassas-area woman suffered minor injuries after police said someone she was arguing with choked her. 
It happened 1:20 a.m. Monday on the 7400 block of Rokeby Drive in the Manassas-area of Prince William County. 
Naclareo Lavalle Pierce, 30, of Lynbrook Court in Woodbridge is charged with strangulation, Prince William County Police reports show. 
The victim said she and the suspect were arguing and he put his hands around her neck and began choking her, investigators said. 

Pierce remains in custody at the adult detention center in Manassas. No bond was set.
