Manassas Police Search for Armed Robbery Suspect

A robber who claimed to be armed stole a wallet from a man in Manassas on Thursday morning, police said. 

The Manassas City Police Department is investigating the robbery that took place on the 8800 block of Sudley Road at 3:13 a.m. 

The victim reported that an unknown man approached him and said he had a gun, although he never showed one. The man told him to give him his wallet. The victim handed over an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect then fled toward Grant Avenue. He is described as a black male, about six feet tall, 180 pounds. He was wearing a black hoodie and a black face mask.
