Police Searching for Three Men in Reported Assault

The three men reportedly assaulted a 52-year-old Manassas man, who was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Prince William County Police are on the lookout for three men who reportedly assaulted and tried to rob a Manassas man. 

A 52-year-old man reported that he had parked his vehicle and was walking to his residence on the 7800 block of Apache Ridge Court near Ashton Avenue when three strangers approached him. They demanded that the victim hand over money, assaulted him, and then fled, police said. 

The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries to his face, police said. Officers responded to the incident on Oct. 4, at 11:57 p.m., and dispatched a K-9 unit as they searched for the three men. They did not find any suspects, but are on the lookout for:

  • A man between 20-30 years old, with a heavy build, black, with black hair, about six feet tall, weighing about 250 pounds, last seen wearing a black shirt and black pants. 
  • A man about six feet tall, between 20-30 years old, black, medium build with short black hair, last seen wearing a gray shirt and gray shorts. 
  • A black man between 20-30 years old, about six feet tall, 150 pounds, with a thin build and short black hair.
