Powerball Runner-Up Prize Doubled By Manassas Nurse
A nurse from Manassas scored twice a runner-up prize in Powerball with a ticket bought in Woodbridge.

MANASSAS, VA — Manassas resident Penelope Williams-Rhone told her husband it was their time to win the lottery. She was right, and it was double the reward.
Williams-Rhone won a $100,000 prize in the July 21 Powerball drawing, according to the Virginia Lottery. Her ticket matched four of the first five numbers plus the Powerball number, which would normally win $50,000. However, an extra spent for Power Play doubled the prize to $100,000.
"I set it out to the universe with intention," Williams-Rhone told Virginia Lottery officials. "I feel truly blessed."
