Powerball Ticket In Manassas Wins $1 Million Runner-Up Prize
The Virginia Lottery said a ticket from Manassas won $1 million as the jackpot continues to climb over a billion.

MANASSAS, VA — Although no one has won the Powerball jackpot yet, a Manassas location sold a Powerball runner-up prize of $1 million.
The $1 million prize came from a ticket matching the first five numbers and missing only the Powerball number. That ticket had been purchased at the Wawa at 8704 Sudley Road in Manassas. That Wawa location within Manassas city limits had opened in December 2024.
Two other tickets in Virginia won $150,000 by matching four of the first five winning numbers plus the Powerball number. Those tickets normally win $50,000, but an extra dollar spent on Power Play tripled the prize. Those tickets were bought online from the Virginia Lottery mobile app.
