Purse Theft Leads To Second Charge In Manassas: Police
A man was arrested Thursday after stealing a woman's purse and then being found to have violated a protective order in Manassas: PWC Police.

MANASSAS, VA—A man was arrested Thursday after stealing a woman's purse and then being found to have violated a protective order in the area of Seymour Road and Ashton Avenue, according to Prince William County Police. Jesse Terry, 29, of the 7500 block of Remington Road in Manassas, was charged with robbery and violation of a protective order.
Shortly before 6 a.m., police went to the aforementioned area for a reported robbery. The woman, 53, said she was walking in the aforementioned area when she was approached by Terry, an acquaintance. They became involved in an argument that escalated, during which he grabbed the purse from her arm and fled in a vehicle.
Police found that he had also been violating a protective order that had been obtained against him by the victim. Seems he had been sending her text messages over the past several days. They found him a short time later, recovered the purse and took him to jail.
