MANASSAS, VA — The return from winter break has been delayed once again at Prince William County Public Schools and Manassas City Public Schools.

For a third consecutive day, PWCS will close schools on Wednesday, Jan. 8. PWCS said the closure will give additional time for VDOT to clear neighborhood roads and make them safe for buses.

Virtual classes will not be held, and School Age Child Care program will be closed. School activities are canceled, including non-school activities on campuses. Students have the option of using the day to catch up or work on assignments.
