Route 28 Bypass Project Faces Doubts Of Advancing In Prince William, Fairfax
According to a report, Prince William County supervisors are considering cancelling the county's part in the project.

MANASSAS, VA — The Route 28 bypass project to alleviate congestion could be uncertain to move forward due to cost concerns and a route through a mobile home park.
Inside Nova reported that Coles District Supervisor Yesli Vega requested an action to cancel Prince William County's part in the bypass project, which would create a new route from Godwin Drive to Route 28 around Manassas. Other supervisors did not speak out against the motion but seek discussions open to the public. Voters in Prince William County had voted in favor of a $200 million bond referendum for the bypass project in 2019.
