School Bus Struck During Winter Storm In Prince William County
A bus with students on board was hit as snow fell Friday morning in Prince William County.
MANASSAS, VA — A bus headed to Osbourn Park High School was truck amid winter weather Friday morning, according to Prince William County Public Schools.
Prince William County Police told Patch the school bus crash happened with students on board in the 6000 block of River Forest Drive in Manassas. The call to police was recorded around 8:47 a.m. Friday.
The bus was enroute to Osbourn Park High School when a vehicle struck it, Principal Lisamarie Kane told families in a message. There were no reported injuries.

"The bus driver immediately verified that the students onboard were safe and followed the appropriate procedures for handling accidents," Kane shared. "The bus was able to finish the route and transported students to school."
Prince William County Public Schools was on a two-hour delay due to the snowfall. Neighboring Fairfax County Public Schools also operated on a delay, while Manassas City Public Schools, Stafford County Public Schools, Loudoun County Public Schools and Fauquier County Public Schools were closed.

There have been reports of crashes around the region as drivers encountered slippery road conditions. Virginia State Police's Fairfax Division/NOVA division said it responded to 10 crashes, including two with injuries, as of 11 a.m. Friday. Prince William County Police did not have an official count of crashes it has responded to Friday morning during the winter storm.
