Senior Living Resident Sexually Assaulted In Manassas Area: Police
Prince William County Police made an arrest after a reported sexual assault of a female resident in a senior living facility.

MANASSAS, VA — A resident of a senior living community in the Manassas area was sexually assaulted Friday, according to Prince William County Police. A suspect was arrested by police.
Around 8:44 p.m. Friday, police responded to Paramount Senior Living located at 8341 Barrett Dr in the Manassas area of Prince William County. An investigation found a man entered an 89-year-old woman's home and sexually assaulted her before staff arrived. The suspect is not known to the victim and was reported to be visiting other relatives in the senior living facility. The victim was treated at a hospital.
The suspect, identified as Harold Leon Edwards II, of Wall Township, New Jersey, was arrested and charged with aggravated sexual battery and object sexual penetration. He is being held without bond.

This is the second time within months that a sexual assault was reported at a senior living facility in the Manassas area of Prince William County. In June, a suspect entered through an unsecured back door at The Fairmont by Barclay House and assaulted an 85-year-old resident. The suspect was arrested and faces rape, abduction, object sexual penetration and burglary charges.
