Sept. 17 is Constitution Day and Citizenship Day

The Prince William Board of County Supervisors commemorates the 225th anniversary of the signing of the U.S. Constitution.

The Prince William Board of County Supervisors issued a declaration on Tuesday that commemorates Sept. 17, the 225th anniversary of the signing of the U.S. Constitution. 

The Board "urges citizens to reflect on the importance of active citizenship and recognize the enduring strength of our Constitution," the declaration reads.
