Serial Thief Arrested Again In Manassas: Police
A woman recently charged with stealing packages from doorsteps was arrested again for stealing from residents at an independent living home.
MANASSAS, VA—A woman recently charged with stealing packages from home doorsteps was arrested June 6 for stealing items from residents while she worked for the Fairmont Independent Living Facility at 9852 Fairmont Avenue, according to Prince William County Police. Amber Shonta Freeman, 27, of no fixed address, was charged with four counts of grand larceny and two counts of burglary.
Police found that between August 2018 and June 2019, an employee—Freeman—entered the living quarters of several residents and removed numerous personal items. Previously, Freeman was arrested May 30 for stealing multiple packages from homes on Craggan Lane and Girvan Court and charged with four counts of grand larceny.
