Police Seeking Man Who Attempted To Assault Woman At Hozier Concert

A man who may have had a knife tried to sexually assault a woman during a Hozier concert at Jiffy Lube Live, Prince William Co. Police said.

BRISTOW, VA — An attempted sexual assault on Tuesday at the Jiffy Lube Live concert venue in Prince William County is under investigation by county police.

Police say the attempted sexual assault happened between 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. Tuesday when Hozier was performing at Jiffy Lube Live (7800 Cellar Door Dr. in Bristow). A 20-year-old victim was attending the concert with friends when an unknown man approached. The man implied he had a knife and ordered the victim to a secluded area. The victim consumed an unknown liquid before the sexual assault attempt.

The victim and suspect eventually separated, and the victim left the venue with her friends. The victim had minor injuries. The incident was reported to Prince William County Police the following day.

The suspect was described as a white man in his late teens to mid-20s, 6 foot 0 and with short brown hair. The suspect was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and skinny-style jeans.
