Sexual Assault By Person With Animal Mask Investigated At Osbourn Park

Prince William County Police say a suspect wearing an animal costume mask sexually assaulted a student at Osbourn Park High School.

MANASSAS, VA — A sexual assault by a person wearing an animal costume mask is being investigated at Osbourn Park High School, Prince William County Police say.

On Nov. 15, Osbourn Park's school resource officer started investigating the assault that happened during the first two weeks of school in August. The assault had been recently reported to police and school staff.

According to police, an adult female student reported being assaulted in a first floor bathroom near the gym. The suspect entered her bathroom stall and sexually assaulted her. The suspect was described as a Caucasian or light-skinned person with a thin build and around 5 foot 8 to 5 foot 9. The suspect was wearing an animal costume mask, dark-colored long-sleeve shirt and full length pants. The suspect's gender was not known.
