Shooting In Manassas With Injury Leads To 1 Arrest: Police
City of Manassas Police made an arrest after a shooting Friday morning.
MANASSAS, VA — A shooting led to a large police presence and arrest Friday morning in Manassas, according to city police.
Police say the shooting happened at the Wellington Station Shopping Center around 9:10 a.m. One victim had a gunshot wound, was given aid and was taken to the hospital. The victim is in stable condition.
Multiple witnesses were identified at the scene. Police say a suspect in a vehicle fled before officers had arrived to the scene. Around 9:28 a.m., Police located and arrested the suspect.

Payton Hogan, 27, was charged with felony malicious wounding with a firearm and use of a firearm in commission of a felony. Hogan was held without bond.
Police say the suspect is related to the victim, and it was an isolated incident. The investigation continues.
