Small Plane Has Landing Malfunction At Manassas Regional Airport
A small plane experienced a landing malfunction while on the runway at Manassas Regional Airport, according to reports.
MANASSAS, VA — A small plane had a minor crash at the Manassas Regional Airport Saturday, according to the city's fire department.
According to the fire department, the plane landed on its nose after a landing gear malfunction. There were no reported injuries.
Citing Virginia State Police, Potomac Local reported that the Bombardier CL-600 twin-engine plane slid about 200 to 300 feet on the runway. The pilot, a 47-year-old from Washington, D.C., was the only person on board.
