1. Today: Go see the REmerging TEchnologies event in merchant gallery at the Center or the Arts at the Candy Factory today from 10 to 5 p.m. The exhibit is a combination of artisic expressions with the juxtaposition of past and present.

5. Today…in History: On Aug. 21, 1897, Ranson E. Olds founded Oldsmobile. The brand ended production in 2004, but a site still lives online to provide owners with resources and direct new car buyers to other GM brands.
