Snow Emergency In Manassas To End, Lifting Parking Restrictions
During the snow emergency, vehicles parked on snow emergency routes had to be relocated, according to the city.

UPDATE: As of noon Tuesday, the snow emergency will end in the City of Manassas. Parking will again be allowed on snow emergency routes after plowing was done on the key routes.
MANASSAS, VA — A winter storm that started overnight into Monday has prompted a snow emergency in the City of Manassas. The city has also rescheduled the swearing in ceremony for the mayor and three City Council members to the Jan. 13 City Council meeting.
Snow emergency routes are in effect. The snow emergency started at 10 p.m. Sunday. Vehicles parked on snow emergency routes must be moved, according to the city.

The Virginia Department of Transportation clears many roads in Prince William County, and homeowners associations may be responsible for clearing their private roads.
City of Manassas offices are open but with limited services, but online services remain available. Manassas City Public Schools are closed on Monday. Yard waste and Christmas tree collections will not happen, with the next scheduled for Jan. 13. Prince William County government offices and Prince William County Public Schools are closed.
