New Cake Bakery In Manassas To Hold Ribbon Cutting In September
A new bakery specializing in cakes and other sweets will have a ribbon cutting after opening during the summer.
MANASSAS, VA — A new bakery that opened in early July in downtown Manassas will have its ribbon cutting in September.
The ribbon cutting for Suhweets Bakery at 9119 Church Street in Manassas is scheduled for 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 10. The Prince William Chamber of Commerce is hosting the ribbon cutting with the City of Manassas Department of Economic Development. Free registration is encouraged to attend.
Suhweets Bakery specializes in handcrafted cakes, cupcakes and other custom desserts by owner and baker Suhei Lakhani. According to the city's economic development department, the buisness "adds flavor and energy to Downtown’s local business mix, attracting residents and visitors, and supporting the City’s growing culinary scene."

Current hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. Customers can follow the Suhweets Bakery Facebook page for updates on offerings and the operating status.
