4. Number of the Day: $30,000. That’s the estimated value of cell phones stolen from an AT&T store in the Manassas area. Police responded to an alarm and found that the front door had been forced open.

5. Today…in History: On Aug. 8, 1969, The Beatles walked across a street and photographer Iain Macmillan captured the image for the album cover of Abbey Road.
