Pink Boa Run and Other Fun This Weekend in Manassas

Looking for something fun to get into? Look no further.

There's oh-so-much to do around the Manassas-area this weekend. 
These are merely a few of our favorites events.  

  • Catch one of the few remaining shows of the stage adaption of Debbie Allen's children's book, "Dancing in the Wings" at the Hylton Performing Arts Center in Manassas.  There's a 2 p.m. show and a 7 p.m. show on Saturday and the final show is Sunday at 3 p.m.  Get tickets here
  • It's the final days of Freedom Center's first Community Appreciation Week. All residents of Prince William County, the City of Manassas and all faculty, staff and students of George Mason University will be given free access to the Freedom Aquatic & Fitness Center during the Community Appreciation Week.   • There's a golf tournament on Saturday at the Virginia Oaks Golf Club in Gainesville. The entry fee is $80 for the Freedom Museum's golf tournament which starts at 9 a.m. Golfers can win some sweet prizes like a Shenandoah Helicopter Tour, weekend at a resort or golf balls. Get the info here
  • Now here's something interesting: The annual Pink Boa 5K/Run Walk is Sunday at 8 a.m. at Fairfax Corner Pavilion, 11901 Grand Commons Ave. in Fairfax. The event is hosted by the Tigerlily Foundation and is purposed to support young women living with breast cancer. Get all the info about registration and cost here
