Winning Lottery Ticket Sold in Manassas
It may not be the millions the player was hoping for, but the sum is in the thousands, Virgina Lottery officials said.
A $10,000 Virginia Lottery ticket was purchased in Manassas this week at the height of the lottery craze as the big jackpot nears a half-billion dollars, the Washington Post reports.
Meanwhile a $1 million dollar ticket was purchased in Christiansburg.
The tickets are just three out of 64,000 sold in Virginia that resulted in a prize.

Thousands of other lottery tickets will likely be sold to players who hope to win the estimated $475 million prize on Saturday.
