Woman Assaults Man With Vehicle In Manassas: Police

MANASSAS, VA—A woman was arrested Wednesday after trying to run down an acquaintance with her vehicle in the 7600 block of Quail Run Lane, according to Prince William County Police. Natalia Elisabeth-Laverne Rector, 20, of the 8100 block Peakwood Court in Manassas, was charged with attempted malicious wounding, hit-and-run and destruction of property.

Around 2 p.m., police went to the area for a reported assault. They found that a 26-year-old Manassas man and Rector were in an argument that escalated. That's when Rector hit him with her vehicle before leaving the scene. Minor injuries were reported. Rector was held without bond.
