Woman Sexually Assaulted In Manassas Area Walmart Parking Lot

Prince William County Police are seeking a suspect in an assault of a woman in a Walmart parking lot.

MANASSAS, VA — A suspect is sought in the sexual assault of a woman outside a Manassas area Walmart Saturday, according to Prince William County Police.

Police had responded to the Walmart at 8386 Sudley Road around 12:34 p.m. Saturday. Police say the 42-year-old woman was walking in the parking lot when an unknown man approached and inappropriately touched her. He fled in a dark-colored vehicle. There were no reported injuries to the victim.

The suspect was described as a man in his early 30s with a mustache and goatee. He was last seen wearing a gray/white fitted hat, gray North Face jacket with black stripes on the buttons and sleeves and orange on the elbows, gray sweatpants and black/white shoes.

Vandalism: On November 13 at 10:31AM, officers responded to the 11700 block of Robert E. Lee Dr. in Bristow (20136) to investigate a vandalism. The investigation revealed swastikas and vulgar language were spray painted on the drainage tunnels of a neighborhood pond. The drawings appeared to have been inside the tunnel for some time and did not appear to contain any threat. No additional markings in the area have been reported.

Possession of a Weapon on School Grounds: On November 15 at 7:13AM, the School Resource Officer (SRO) assigned to Unity Reed High School located at 8820 Rixlew Rd. in Manassas (20109) was notified of a student in possession of a weapon. The investigation revealed the bookbag of a student, later identified as the accused, activated the Evolve weapon detection system while the student was attempting to enter the school. School personnel recovered a knife inside the bag and notified the SRO. The SRO determined the knife was not part of any threat to other students or staff. On November 17, following the investigation, the accused, identified as Abraham Alexander Zuna Del Cid, was charged.

Vandalism on School Grounds: On November 15 at 9:02AM, the School Resource Officer assigned to Colgan High School located at 13833 Dumfries Rd. in Manassas (20112) was notified of a vandalism inside the school. The investigation revealed swastikas and vulgar language were etched onto a bathroom stall door. The drawings did not appear to contain any threats, and no additional markings were reported. School personnel removed the markings.

Carjacking: On November 17 at 4:47AM, officers responded to investigate a carjacking that was reported to have occurred in the area of Yorkshire Dr. near Old Centreville Rd. in Manassas (20111) earlier that morning. The investigation revealed the victim, a 27-year-old man, was giving a ride to an unknown man when the man brandished a firearm. The suspect then demanded the victim get out of the vehicle before driving off in the vehicle. No injuries were reported. Later that morning, officers located the vehicle unoccupied on Automotive Dr.
