• Delegate Bulova to resign, accept appointment by incoming Gov. Spanberger (ffxnow.com) — Oakton residents will soon lose their current state delegate, as David Bulova is resigning his 11th District seat to become Virginia’s secretary of natural and historic resources in the incoming Spanberger administration. His departure will trigger a special election that could briefly leave Oakton and nearby communities without representation when the 2026 General Assembly session begins.
