Alexandria Man Brought Firearm Into Groveton Store: Police
An Alexandria man faces two firearms charges after police said he displayed a weapon inside a store in Groveton.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — An Alexandria man was arrested on two firearms charges after police said he displayed a weapon inside a store in Groveton.
Police were called about 1 p.m. Sept. 12 to the 6300 block of Richmond Highway in Groveton when a caller said a suspect brandished a firearm while inside the store, then fled.
Officers identified the suspect as Dorian Claytor Jr., 30, of Alexandria and took him into custody. During the investigation, officers located the firearm, which had been hidden in an aisle where Claytor was seen in the store.

Claytor was taken to the Fairfax County Adult Detection Center and charged with brandishing of a firearm and felon in possession of a firearm. He was held on a $3,000 bond.
