Commanders Pep Rally With 'Today Show' Segment Planned In Alexandria
With the Commanders in the NFC championship game for the first time since 1992, a pep rally in Alexandria will be shown on the "Today Show."

ALEXANDRIA, VA — As the Washington Commanders get ready to play in their first NFC Championship game since their 1992 Super Bowl season, fans rallying in Alexandria Friday will be broadcast on the "Today Show."
NBC4 and the "Today Show" are collaborating to show a live pep rally at The Cooper Mill, a new restaurant in a historic warehouse at 10 Duke Street. Commanders fans are invited to dress in their fan gear and attend for the live broadcast from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. Friday with NBC4 host Molette Green. The Commanders are planning surprises for the pep rally.
The "Today Show" will show live footage of fan rallies for all four teams in conference championship games: Washington, Philadelphia, Buffalo and Kansas City.

The Commanders will play the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC championship game at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 26, while the Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs will face off in the AFC championship game at 6:30 p.m. Sunday.
