Strong storms and heavy rain remain possible through the overnight hours, forecasters said. Conditions will remain soggy on Sunday, with periods of rain possible throughout much of the day and a lingering chance of isolated storms.

Looking ahead to the work week, unsettled conditions will likely continue through Tuesday, according to the Capital Weather Gang.

More rounds of rain rotate through Monday. It shouldn’t rain nonstop, but showers may be numerous. Mainly mid-70s for highs," the Capital Weather Gang said.

Storm and shower chances dip slightly on Tuesday, but there's still a 60 percent chance the region will see precipitation throughout the day and into the overnight hours.
