Victim Identified In Manor Road Homicide: Alexandria Police
A man shot to death Saturday in Alexandria has been identified, police said, and the case is considered a homicide.
ALEXANDRIA, VA — A man shot to death Saturday in Alexandria has been identified, police said, and the case is considered a homicide. The victim is Carl Harris, 23, of Alexandria.
Authorities received reports of gunshots fired and a man down at 7:51 p.m. Saturday in the 800 block of Manor Road near Cameron Mills Road.
According to a police news release, Harris was taken to an area hospital with apparent gunshot wounds, where he was declared dead.

A police spokesperson told WTOP the victim was not at the scene of the shooting when officers arrived.
The office of the medical examiner will determine the cause and manner of death, police said.
