Artist Danielle Hatch To Headline 33rd Tephra ICA Arts Festival

RESTON, VA — More than 200 contemporary artists and artisans will be traveling to Reston Town Center for the 33rd Tephra ICA Arts Festival at Reston Town Center.

Multidisciplinary artist Danielle Hatch will be presenting the headline performance at the festival, which takes place May 18-19.

Entitled "All is in Motion, Is Growing, Is You," the Arkansas-based artist's site-specific textile installation and accompanying performance is inspired by the founding of the Reston community, focusing on the roles the individual and collective play in building a community.

Hatch will present her performance both days, Saturday, May 18 and Sunday, May 19, from 1-4 p.m., at Mercury Fountain Plaza, 11900 Fountain Drive in Reston. The event is free and open to the public.

On Saturday, the Reston Town Center Association and Tephra ICA will be introducing Hatch's installation as part of the opening ceremony of Reston's eARTh Day celebration, which takes place at 10 a.m. at Mercury Fountain Plaza.

"All Is in Motion, Is Growing, Is You" is presented by Reston Community Center, with support from Tephra ICA, RTCA and BXP.
