Bakery To Officially Open 2nd NoVA Location With Ribbon Cutting
Maryland-based bakery and bistro chain will cut the ribbon on its second location in Northern Virginia next week.

RESTON, VA — A European bakery and bistro chain will officially open its second location in Virginia next week with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Roggenart European Bakery, Bistro and Café will officially open its doors Thursday Aug. 21 at 10:30 a.m., at 12130 Sunset Hills Road in Reston.
The bakery specializes in serving "artisan breakfast sandwiches atop buttery croissants, signature omelets, cast iron pressed sandwiches, and hand-crafted breads," according to a release.

"Our vision for Roggenart has always been to create a welcoming space where people can find a moment of peace and enjoy truly authentic European flavors," said Neman Popov, founder and CEO of Roggenart.
Supervisor Walter Alcorn (D-Hunter Mill) and Charles Kapur, president and CEO of the Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce, are expected to attend the ribbon cutting and help Roggernart's owners christen their 10th bakery.

"We are proud of the 'third place' experience we've cultivated at Roggenart," said Brody Tennant, owner and managing partner. "This opening is a milestone in our growth."
Roggenart's Reston bakery and cafe will be open weekdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and weekends from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. The company opened its first Virginia location in Ballston in April 2024.
Based in Howard County, Maryland, Roggernart has locations in Baltimore, Columbia, Ellicott City, Savage Mill, Frederick, and Towson, as well as West Diversy Parkway, North Halsted Street in Chicago Illinois. The company opened its first Virginia location in Ballston in April 2024.
