Candidate Forum In Reston Scheduled In 11th Congressional District Race
Democrat James Walkinshaw and Republican Stewart Whitson will be participating in a candidate forum on Monday in Reston. Seating is limited.

RESTON, VA — The Reston Citizens Association is hosting an 11th Congressional District Forum featuring candidates James Walkinshaw (D) and Stewart Whitson (R) on Monday, July 28, at Reston Community Center Hunters Woods.
WJLA TV will be live-streaming the forum, which will be rebroadcast in the days following. The forum will begin promptly at 6 p.m., so attendees are encouraged to arrive early to take a seat. Walkinshaw and Whitson have confirmed that they will be participating in the forum, which will be live-streamed by WJLA and rebroadcast in the days following.
"A 60-minute segment has been dedicated to the Q&A portion of the forum," according to an RCA release. "Time has been allocated before and after the forum for media to conduct interviews with the candidates. Once the formal program ends, WJLA will stop live-streaming."

RCA President Lynne Mulston will moderate the forum. Due to capacity limitations, registration is required. Be prepared to submit questions during registration. RCC Hunters Woods is located at 2310 Colts Neck Road in Reston.
