Fairfax County To Hold Final Meeting On Wiehle Avenue Study
The Fairfax County Department of Transportation will hold a final community meeting on the Wiehle Avenue Study on Oct. 28.
RESTON, VA — The Fairfax County Department of Transportation will hold a final community meeting on the Wiehle Avenue Study at 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28, at Langston Hughes Middle School, 11401 Ridge Heights Road in Reston.
FCDOT staff will present a revised concept that was developed from feedback at the November 2023 workshop and followup public meeting in May 2024.
The goal of the Wiehle Avenue Study is to improve transportation options along Wiehle Avenue from Sunrise Valley Drive to the Washington and Old Dominion Trail, county officials said.

The department of transportation has been working with stakeholders to identify new and improved bicycle and pedestrian facilities and intersection treatments, as well as evaluating the potential reconfiguration of vehicular lanes for current and future land use.
