New Nonstop Flights Depart From VA Airport To 3 International Destinations

DULLES, VA — In preparation for the start of the summer travel season this Memorial Day weekend, United Airlines will be introducing new nonstop flights from Washington Dulles International Airport in Virginia to international and domestic. destinations.

Beginning on Thursday, travelers will be able to take advantage of the following new nonstop from Dulles Airport:

Albuquerque, New Mexico – Daily flight begins on an Airbus A319

  • Depart Dulles at 9 a.m. and arrive in Albuquerque 11:05 a.m.

Nice, France – Four-times weekly, seasonal flight on a 767-300

  • Depart Dulles at 5:20 p.m. and arrive in Nice at 8 a.m. This is the first and only nonstop flight from Washington, D.C. to the French Riviera.

Venice, Italy – Daily, seasonal flight on a 767-300

  • Depart Dulles at 5:15 p.m. and arrive in Nice at 7:55 a.m. This is the first and only nonstop flight from Washington, D.C. to Venice.

Anchorage, Alaska – Beginning on Thursday, United welcomes back the only nonstop daily, seasonal service from Washington, D.C. to Anchorage.

Starting Friday, travelers will also able to fly to the following nonstop flight from Dulles Airport:

Dakar, Senegal – Flights depart three-times weekly year-round on a 767-300

  • Departs Dulles at 6:30 p.m. and arrives in Dakar at 7 a.m. This is the only nonstop flight from Washington, D.C. to Dakar

In anticipation of the busy summer months, United has also added the new Airbus A321neo to its fleet. The new aircraft debuts at Dulles Airport on Friday.

  • The A321neo will fly between Washington Dulles and Chicago O’Hare as well as Denver International Airport.
  • The A321neo features United's most advanced cabin interior yet, including larger overhead bins with space for every passenger's roll aboard bag, an inflight entertainment system with an up to 13 inch, 4K screens with Bluetooth connectivity. The aircraft also features LED lighting designed to create a modern, calming atmosphere.
