100 You Pick Two Meals To Be Given Away At Reston Panera Cafe Opening

RESTON, VA — Panera Bread is celebrating its first location in Reston on Wednesday morning by giving away a year’s worth of free “Your Pick Two” meals.

The first 100 people in line at 6 a.m., when the new Panera at 2041 Fulton Place in Reston opens for the first time, are eligible for the giveaway. Your Pick Two meals allow guests to choose any combination of two half-sized entrees from the Panera Bread menu, including soups, salads, sandwiches and more.

“We are thrilled to be opening the first Panera in Reston,” said Joel Duprey, Panera’s area operating partner. “We are excited to grow our presence in this wonderful community and look forward to delivering the great tasting food and impeccable service our local guests have come to expect from Panera."

The Reston cafe will have a smaller footprint than other Panera locations, focusing instead on serving go-to customers. To facilitate that, the cafe will have ordering kiosks and a fully digitized menu.

For a limited time, Panera is also offering local nonprofit organizations, including schools, sports teams, scout groups and more, the opportunity to host a fundraising event at the new Panera bakery-cafe in Reston. The offer runs through July 23, with Panera pledging to donate 30 percent of its sales from the event back to the organization.

Employing 30-45 people, the new Reston Panera will be open Monday-Sunday, 6 a.m.-9 p.m.
