RESTON, VA — A month after millions of demonstrators across the U.S. came out and peacefully protested against the Trump administration's policies as part of the No Kings Rallies, Herndon Reston Indivisible is organizing a follow-up event at a park in Reston later this month.

In honor of civil rights leader and U.S. Rep. John Lewis, Herndon Reston Indivisible is hosting a Good Trouble Lives On rally on Thursday, July 17, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Baron Cameron Park, which is located at 11300 Baron Cameron Ave. in Reston.

The name of the event comes from a famous quote Lewis posted on Twitter in June 2018:

"Do not get lost in a sea of despair. Be hopeful, be optimistic. Our struggle is not the struggle of a day, a week, a month, or a year, it is the struggle of a lifetime. Never, ever be afraid to make some noise and get in good trouble, necessary trouble."
