Hot Dogs To Cool Off During Dog Daze At Lake Fairfax Park In Reston

The Water Mine at Lake Fairfax Park in Reston opens Sept. 9 for Dog Daze, the proceeds of which benefit the Fairfax County Park Foundation.

RESTON, VA — While Restonians may have had their chance last Saturday to cool off in the waters of Lake Anne as part of the annual Cardboard Regatta, what about their four-footed friends? When will the canine companions of those corrugated captains have their chance to receive some relief from all this late-August heat?

Never fear, Reston's hot dogs will be able to cool down on for Dog Daze at The Water Mine at Lake Fairfax Park.

From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., on Sept. 9, dogs can swim and frolic throughout the water mine. Admission is $10 per dog. Dog Daze participants can register online.
