Dear Reston Association Board of Directors,

The Board of Reston Citizens Association (RCA) objects to and questions the inclusion of Reston National Golf Course (RNGC) SSPA on your March 11, 2025, agenda.

The developer's intent is contrary to the Reston Comprehensive Plan and Reston Association's own Land Use Resolution 6, Golf Course Policy dated 12/15/2016, which was reaffirmed in 2020. Further, development of the golf courses has been repeatedly rejected by Supervisor Alcorn and by all of the communities that are adjacent to the courses. RCA will strenuously fight any efforts to weaken this resolve.

Inclusion of the RNGC SSPA on the March 11 agenda of the Land Use Advisory Committee goes against the stated platforms that many of you proudly espoused to garner votes when running for election in 2023.

The Board of RCA respectfully requests that RA reconsider moving forward with this agenda item on its March 11 LUAC meeting.
