RESTON, VA -- Torrential rains have caused multiple road closures in the Reston area Monday morning.

Fairfax County Police reported that the following roads that were closed in the Reston District Station area Monday morning have since reopened:

  • Hunter Mill Rd between Cedar Pond and Hunter Station–Road Flooded
  • Sunset Hills/ Metro Center Dr–Road Flooded
  • Walker Rd between Walker Glen and Berramin–Road Flooded
  • Colvin Run/ Leesburg Pike–Road Flooded–Road Flooded
  • Springvale Rd/ Brevity–Road Flooded

However, the following roads were still closed as of around 5 p.m.:

  • Crowell Rd/Browns Mill Rd–Road Flooded
  • Hunter Station Rd-Closed between Hunter Mill Rd/Hunter View Dr
