RESTON, VA — It only comes once a year and some people may argue that it's a "made-up holiday," but there is one special day that's set aside for us to celebrate the ones we love the most: our dogs.
National Dog Day falls on Aug. 26 and Patch wants Reston readers to share photos of their beloved pups to be featured in an upcoming article.
To have your canine friend featured in our National Dog Day Gallery, email photos you took to: reston@patch.com by noon on Friday, Aug. 22. Please include your dog's name, your name, and community that you live in.

IMPORTANT: When submitting photos, include the following: "I took the photos I am submitting and I give Patch permission to publish the photos in its National Dog Day Gallery." Submissions without this language will not be published.
