New Smoothie, Açai Bowl​ Chain To Celebrate 21st DMV Location

RESTON, VA — To celebrate the grand opening of its Reston location on Saturday, the South Block smoothie and açai bowl chain will be hosting a high-energy block party.

“Opening our doors in Reston gives us a great opportunity to meet the community here,” said Amir Mostafavi, CEO and founder of South Block. “Our goal has always been to create a space where people can enjoy fresh food, good company, and a welcoming atmosphere — and this new spot gives us another chance to do just that.”

Saturday's Block Party is kicks at 11 a.m., featuring:

• Free Mini Warrior Bowls for the first 100 guests.
• A banana costume contest with gift card prizes for three winners.
• A live DJ, free swag, and plenty of South Block’s signature community spirit throughout the day.

Located at 1835 Fountain Drive in Reston Town Center, South Block's new store will be open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
