RESTON, VA -- A driver struck someone with his car after a parking spot dispute in Reston last week, police say.

Two people got into an argument in the parking lot of a McDonald's at 11265 Roger Bacon Drive at around 9:37 a.m. on April 11, according to a report from the Fairfax County Police Department.

"The victim got out of their car and tried to block the other car from leaving by standing in front of it," the report states. "The driver allegedly struck the victim in the leg with his car and left the scene."

The victim was not injured. Police are treating the incident as an assault, but have not indicated whether they have charged the driver.
