Reston Multicultural Fair Festival at Lake Anne on Saturday

If you're looking for something fun to do with the family this weekend, the annual Reston Multicultural Festival will hit Lake Anne Plaza on Saturday.

People of all ages can enjoy music, entertainment, food, arts and crafts from many of the diverse cultural backgrounds that can be found living in the Reston area.

The event will feature a Naturalization Ceremony, the International Book Fair, showcases by the National Award Fellows, a 3-D "Art Mirrors Culture" exhibit, and fun activities.

"This signature Reston event honors the diversity that is one of our greatest strengths," organizers said. "Everyone is encouraged to dress in attire from their own cultural roots and share the stories that we gather on the pathways of our lives."

The Reston Multicultural Festival takes place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. this Saturday, Sept. 24 at Lake Anne Plaza. The event is free and open to the public, and will be held rain or shine.
