Unconscious Teen Attacks Cop At Reston Town Center: Police

RESTON, VA -- Police found a teen unconscious at a bus stop who attacked cops when he woke up, police say.

Police found 19-year-old Mario Rodriguez of Reston at a bus stop at the intersection of Bluemont Way and Explorer Street at around 8:29 p.m. on July 6, according to a report from the Fairfax County Police Department.

Rodriguez, who was treated by medical personnel, "assaulted an officer during the arrest," the report states.

Police charged him with possession of marijuana, drunk in public, and two counts of assault on law enforcement. He is being held without bond.
