Where To See Santa In Reston This Christmas Season
Santa Claus is coming to Reston and families will have many opporunites to have their photos taken with him.
RESTON, VA — Visits and pictures with Santa Claus are treasured traditions for many Reston families. In Reston, kids have several chances to see jolly old St. Nick in person.
Here are the details:
Winterfest is returning to Reston this week, following last year's succussful debut. The event includes the Light Up the Park walk, a SantaExperience, Grinch’s Village, live music, Enchanted Forest, firepits with s’mores, as well as plenty of food, drink and holiday vendors, according to the Reston Association.

Winterfest will be Dec. 5-7, from 5-9 p.m., at Brown's Chapel Park, which is located at 1686 Browns Chapel Road in Reston. The event is free for all RA members; admission is $8 for non-members ages 3-17, and $18 for non-members 18+.

Santa will be making an appearance at the annual Lake Anne Jingle On the Lake Festival, which is presented by the Lake Anne Washington Plaza Merchant Association.
The festival takes place Saturday, Dec. 7, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Lake Anne Plaza at 1609 Washington Plaza N. in Reston. Come and enjoy a Christmas Market, holiday performances and dine at one of the plaza' restaurants. Boat Parade and Santa arrival are at 12 p.m.
Festival sponsors include Kalypso’s Sports Tavern; Montmartre Cafe; Elden Street Teashop; Positive Aging Community and the Reston Lakeside Cluster.
Santa is also holding court at several shopping malls in the local area, including:
South Lakes Village is hosting a Winter Festival from 12-2 p.m., on Saturday, Dec. 14. The public is inveted to take pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus, as well as enjoy face painting, crafts, live music, giveaways and festive treats. A photographer will also be on hand to capture all the fun.
Visit Santa this holiday season at Fair Oaks. Get your photos with Santa now through Dec. 24. Hours vary by day and week. Walk-ups are welcome, but registration is encouraged.
Pet nights will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Nov. 18 and Dec. 2. A sensory-friendly event with Santa is also scheduled on Dec. 8 from 9:30-10:30 a.m.
Pictures with Santa are available now through Christmas Eve at Tysons Corner Center. A complete list of hours is available online. Reservations are recommended.
Pet nights are held from 6-8 p.m. on Mondays through Dec. 9. A sensory-friendly event with Santa is also scheduled on Dec. 8 from 10-11 a.m.
Tysons Galleria
Visit Santa this holiday season at Tysons Galleria. Get your photos with Santa now through Dec. 24. Hours vary by day and week. Walk-ups are welcome, but registration is encouraged.
Pet nights will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Mondays and Tuesdays starting Nov. 25 through Dec. 10. A sensory-friendly event with Santa is also scheduled on Dec. 8 from 9:30-10:30 a.m.
Santa will visit The Boro’s Vintage Toy Workshop for three special Friday night meet-and-greet sessions. Bring your wish lists, snap festive photos and enjoy a magical holiday experience.
Friday Night Santa Meet-and-Greet Series takes place Dec. 6, 13 and 20, from 5-7 p.m., at The Boro Tysons, which is located at 8350 Broad St. in Tysons.
