Where To See Santa In Reston This Holiday Season

RESTON, VA — Visits and pictures with Santa Claus are treasured traditions for many Reston families.

In Reston, kids have two big events where Santa fans can find Kris Kringle, Winterfest 2025 and Jingle on the Lake.

Winterfest 2025

• When: Thursday, Dec. 4-Saturday, Dec. 6, from 5 to 9 p.m.
• Where: Brown's Chapel Park, 1686 Browns Chapel Road, Reston
• Details: This three-night event at Brown's Chapel Park in Reston is the perfect kickoff to the holiday season, with a walk-through trail with thousands of festive holiday lights and other holiday activities. In addition to the light displays, fire pits with s’mores, Enchanted Forest and lots of food and vendors. More information is available online.

Jingle on the Lake

• When: Saturday, Dec. 6, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with Santa arriving with the Boat Parade at 12 p.m.
• Where: Lake Anne Plaza, 1609 Washington Plaza North, Reston
• Details: Calling on kids of all ages to come greet Santa and have great fun. Shop the Christmas market on the plaza and at the Reston Community Center for unique gifts, participate in several children’s activities, enjoy hot chocolate, food, treats, ballet and choir performances, and more, in the picturesque heart of Reston.
